Make Up Academy (MUA) is a makeup brand based in the UK. Most,if not all, of you all might have heard of the company. Their products can be found at Superdrug stores or on the Superdrug site. Their products are very inexpensive, majority of them are only £1 and I can say that the quality of each product is amazing.

Some info about MUA taken from their Facebook page:
Make Up Academy launched in May 2010 with a huge range of over 100 lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushers, mascara and nail polishes and at a permanent price of only £1!! The range created excitement both in the media and blogging world. The range has been built with extensive shade choice and high quality giving a great range of products at an affordable price and it has fast become the highest volume selling cosmetics brand.

Following the huge success of MUA, Make Up Academy Professional was launched in June 2011. The range includes eye palettes (a 12 shade eye palette, trio eyeshadow collection & merged quad eyeshadow), mosaic bronzers & blushers, foundation, primers, mascaras (volume and curl) and nail quake – MUA’s version of the popular shatter style nail varnish in 6 shades – all priced between only £1.50 and £4. All delivering amazing quality and value to the customer building on the MUA promise, as been proven in the early sales results.

So for today's post I will be sharing with you all some products that I received to try out!
-Heaven & Earth Eye Shadow palette
-Blusher in Shade No. 5
-Pressed Powder Shade No. 4
-Eye Shadow trio in Pink Sorbet
-Single eyeshadow in Shade 31 Pearl
-Extreme Curl Mascara in Black/Brown

Heaven & Earth Eye Shadow palette
This palette definitely lives up to the hype! Every shadow is super pigmented and has a creamy texture which makes it easy to apply. Even the lightest shades are pigmented. I really like how different each shade is, if you look at it some seem similar but they aren't. Some have more chunky sparkles and some are more shimmery. Sadly this palette doesn't have any matte shades.
Swatches:

Blusher in Shade No. 5
The shade is a deep rose color and its super pigmented and creamy. It blends very well, if you end up applying more than you needed you can tone it down with your setting powder. I really like how this blush doesn't have a lot of fallout like other inexpensive blushes and you only need the smallest amount!
Swatch:

Eye Shadow trio in Pink Sorbet
This trio is soo fun to use, it has a warm brown, soft pastel pink and a light beige shade. I really like how the shimmer is very subtle and these blend very well.
 Swatches:
Pressed Powder Shade No. 4
I really wish this pressed powder came in my shade, I love how smooth the texture is, I applied it just to see how the finish would be and its very mattifying. This is about 2 shades darker than my skin tone. This is a product I will definitely purchase when they start shipping internationally.
Swatche:
Single Eye shadow in Shade 31 Pearl
The single shadow is just as pigmented and creamy in texture just like the trio and the palette. Very easy to apply and super bendable. Unfortunately this shadow came bruised and broken, I will be making a post on how to mend broken shadows.

 Swatches:

 Extreme Curl Mascara in Black/Brown
I really like the formula of this mascara, it lengthens very well and gives a nice curl! The wand is curved to give you a very defined application.

So I hope you all like reading about MUA products, I was grateful enough to try out different products from them. Overall I LOVE each product. If you are interested in buying MUA they only sell at Superdrug in the UK but they have mentioned that they will ship internationally when their website launches (crosses my fingers that they launch soon!)
Be looking forward to some eye makeup using some of the shadows!
