[REVIEW] RevitaBrow Eyebrow Conditioner

Tired of filling in your brows everyday? The Revitabrow Eyebrow Conditioner promises to revitalize your eyebrows so they will look thicker, fuller, and more polished. So let's see how it worked for mine!

Revitabrow Eyebrow Conditioner uses the power of botanicals and peptides, to help nourish, strengthen, and condition your brows. Revitabrow Eyebrow Conditioner also claims to use advanced cosmetic technology to help your eyebrows grow into that more beautiful and stunning look.

Revitabrow Eyebrow Conditioner Key Ingredients:
Serenoa Serrulala Feuit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Swertia Japonica Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, and Biotin.

How to Use:
Simple and easy is the application process for Revitabrow Eyebrow Conditioner. All you do is apply Revitabrow Eyebrow Conditioner once a day to clean and dray eyebrow hair.
My eyebrows are not perfect and I get reminded of that with every visit at a beauty salon when I get them threaded. I have a bunch of gaps between each hair which makes the threading process very difficult since they end up looking thinner then what I expected. Natural looking brows are very in these days so I try to grow them out as much as I can but of course I can't go more then 2-3 weeks without getting them done since they get out of control.

The product is a clear liquid which dries in about 5-10 minutes, I like the wand applicator that it comes with. I can easily massage in the product in certain areas. It doesn't make them hard or greasy feeling. I've been applying this once a day for about 2 and a half months, and I'm not gonna lie but I did forgot to apply this a few times during the course! With continuous usage my results would have been better. I've never tried an eyebrow growth serum but this worked a lot better then applying Castor Oil which a lot of beauty gurus recommend for eyebrow hair growth. Don't get me started at how annoying it is to apply oil to my brows! This is a better alternative but I would hesitate on purchasing this simply because of the price tag.

With the RevitaBrow Eyebrow Conditioner I wouldn't call this a miracle product to be honest. I have noticed a slight thickness in my brows since after about a month of using it, which I can only spot in photos. The area where i focused the most product is at the arch of my brow where there's a bunch of gaps. After 2 months I have been seeing some thickness around the arch but not so much that it's noticeable to others. I would say that the hair does feel softer and I notice less hair sticking out from place to place. I'd recommend this to someone with very thin brows, with continuous usage this can help the growth of the hairs.

Current Fav: Herbal Essences Body Envy Shampoo

Thursday, October 25, 2012 Sidrah!!!! 8 Comments

Lately I've been getting tons of compliments on my hair. Its more wavy and full of body now and its all thanks to Herbal Essences Body Envy Shampoo. I’ve never tried this particular one before and while shopping for a new shampoo I was considering getting the hydrating one that I’ve read so much about since my ends are on the drier side but I got this instead because I love full bodied hair. This is probably my third Herbal Essences shampoo, I’ve tried their straightening one and their split end one and they have never ceased to disappoint me! They all smell amazing yet it’s not a strong scent.

Herbal Essences Body Envy
With effective cleansing and lightweight conditioning for hair volume
Fed up with flat hair? use us for a lift in all the right places with our formula that has a fusion of passionflower sunrise and pearl. For lush hair volume and body that really moves, try our shampoo and try our conditioner that has a fusion of hydro-activated silkening ingredients, and styling products. caution: that lightweight feeling is guaranteed to cause a rush that others will envy.

My hair type is wavy and I do end up with oil on my scalp even after a day of shampooing. What I like about Herbal Essences is that their shampoos lather up a lot! I love a shampoo where I need just a small amount to massage into my scalp and ends. The scent of body envy is a bit fruity and flower but its not at all strong or overpowering. They describe the scent as a fusion of passionflower sunrise and pearl.

So does it volumize? Heck yea it does! My scalp definitely needs a boost, I was using the Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo (reviewed here) on my fringe to give a lift and now I don’t  use it anymore because of this. My hair has more body and waves now, I avoid combing my hair right after the shower to hold some of the waves in.

This shampoo doesn't dry out my hair so I don’t feel the need to use a thick conditioner with this. Since my ends are dry I add a tiny amount of Sunsilk’s Soft and Smooth conditioner on just the ends, it hydrates and detangles my hair very well.

I'm in love with this shampoo, if you are looking for a hairlift than this shampoo is worth checking out.

September Favs!

Monday, October 01, 2012 Sidrah!!!! 14 Comments

I hate being away from my blog for so long! So how about a few things that I have been loving for the past month? I can't believe its almost October and in just a few months 2012 will be over! Crazyness.
Let's start off with my favorite face products.

  • Color Studio Pro Blush in Natural Glow (reviewed here) - Amazing to wear during the daytime, highly recommend it for a soft blush look
  • Revlon Lip Butter in Lollipop (reviewed here) - I like how subtle yet bright this lip color is. I only need to dab on a little for a great pop of color.
  • Elf Super Glossy in Mauze Luxe (reviewed here) - If I skip out on wearing any lip color, I wear this for a bit of shine on the lips.
  • Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss in Pink Perfection- I love how light this lip gloss is, I usually pair this with the Revlon Lip Butter for a glossy look since it's not that pigmented
  • Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Black Fever- Love this eyeliner, I will be purchasing another one since I am almost running out. This works really well for the waterline and it doesn't smudge or bleed!
  • Essence Kohl Eyeliner in 11 Cool Breeze- Gorgeous bright blue kohl eyeliner, I love using this on my lower lash line but it does smudge a bit!
  • Essence Brow Pencil in 02 Brown- Simple basic brow pencil, the brush is really soft and easily blends in the color.
Though I rarely wear eye makeup, lately whenever I go out I always pair these 2 up. The Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold (reviewed here) and Essence's eyeshadow in Party All Night. It creates the most metallic look, the eyeshadow on its own doesn't show up that well on me but with the gold base it works really nicely.

For nails I have been loving this coral color from Loreal in Rajin' Cajun. Using Revlon Color Stay's Base Coat and Top Coat keeps this polish on for an entire week!

For hair I have been loving this serum from CHI, I only use the tiniest amount on the ends of my hair and it feels super soft and smooth. My hair usually gets greasy with serums but this does the trick really well. I discovered this cheap Cocoa Body Butter at Naheed's for 200rs, I figured why not since the smell is really rich. It doesn't work that well on my body but I love using it for my hands, my cuticles have really been nourished with this.

Well I hope you all liked my favorites for this month! Let me know if you would like any reviews of the products mentioned! What are some things that you have been loving lately?
