OPI Outrageous Neons Swatches

OPI Outrageous Neons is a set of 4 mini polishes, a mini white base polish and a mini top coat. This set is great for those who love a bold manicure. The polishes are all very sheer on their own but applied over a white base gives these colors a vivid look.
Ridiculously Yellow, Formidably Orange, Riotously Pink, Seriously Purple
White Base, Top Coat
White Base is opaque in just a single coat. It’s by far the perfect formula for a white base polish, non streaky and easy to apply.

Top Coat gives a nice shine to the nails but takes forever to dry. Even after 30 minutes my nails were still not completely dry.

Formidably Orange is a vibrant orange that is easy to apply. It shows up opaque with 2 coats on top of the white base.

Ridiculously Yellow is a neon yellow. This was opaque in 3 coats on top of the white base.

Seriously Purple was the only difficult polish to work with. It's a straight purple which looks almost like a dark pink if you don't apply enough coats. I used about 4 or 5 coats and it still looks sheer and uneven.

Riotously Pink is a bright hot pink that shows up opaque in 2 coats with the white base.

Overall I love the vibrancy of all of the shades with the white base. The base is a perfect opaque white that applies very easily without leaving streaks on your nails. Seriously Purple was the only disappointing polish since I love the shade of purple and I would've liked the shade to show up opaque. Without the white base it can work as a sheer polish which doesn't look bad at all, it'll just give a very toned down shade of purple.

For the rest of the colors, these all give a very matte texture without the top coat. Once the top coat is applied it gives a gorgeous glossy finish to the polish. I can't pick a favorite out of the bunch since I love the out there shades of yellow, orange and pink.

Color Studio Professional,

[REVIEW] Color Rush Lipsticks by Color Studio Professional

Friday, January 18, 2013 Sidrah!!!! 12 Comments

You really cant go wrong with a good lipstick that's hydrating and pigmented to stay on for hours. A good lipstick should have a balance between not being too glossy that it smears everywhere and not too matte that it dries out your lips. Color Studio Professional's Color Rush lipsticks are right up my alley. These all have a semi-matte finish that apply smoothly with great color payoff. Lets see how these worked out for me.

Let's Talk About It:
Color studio professional have a pretty good range of shades in their lipstick line. These all have the same semi-matte cream finish.
Intense is a very deep burgundy almost plumy-brown shade, perfect for a winter lip. It lasts 5-6 hours on me including eating and drinking, this one actually stains my lips once the product has worn off completely. Acapulco is a straight up light nude brown shade. It is a great nude lipcolor for medium skin tones. This wore about 2-3 hours on me.

What I like about these is that they are creamy enough to keep your lips hydrated while not  accentuating any lines on the lips. These wear very smoothly and cling to the lips without the use of a lipliner. The long wear time is perfect for formal occasions if you don't want to touch up on your lip color.

[REVIEW] Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick- In the Flesh

Saturday, January 12, 2013 Sidrah!!!! 12 Comments

I finally got my hand on some Wet n' Wild goodies from my recent haul, the Megalast lipsticks have been talked about all over. I picked out the shade In The Flesh since i wanted to go for a neutral rose pink shade. Lets see how it looks!

Let's Talk about it:

I am in love with this lipstick! The color and application is really quite impressive for the price. I picked out a very wearable shade, In The Flesh is a rosy-nude shade with a semi matte finish. When applied on its own it is slightly drying and does accentuate fine lines after a few hours so I prefer to apply a thin layer of lip balm before wearing it. With lip balm I can comfortably wear it for about 3 hours or more. It does fade after eating and drinking.

The biggest issue I have with this lipstick is the packaging. The top is difficult to remove and since there is a good amount of product already exposed, it does nic the lipstick causing it to smear on the cap. Overall I recommend the lipstick range since theres a wide shade selection.

Lips,

[REVIEW] Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

Tuesday, January 01, 2013 Sidrah!!!! 16 Comments

Oh Revlon, my lips love you! I am so excited to start off the new year with a product that I've been craving over. I hope all of my fellow beauty bloggers and readers had a wonderful end of 2012 and I can not WAIT to see what's coming up in the beauty world this year. 2012 for me was an amazing year, a lot of changes in my life and I am very excited about what's next!

On with the review! So these gorgeous Kissable balm stains have been on my wishlist ever since these launched earlier this year. I picked out the shade Honey since I wanted to go for a wearable everyday lip color. Let's take a closer look...

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey Lip Swatch
Let Talk About it:
These lip balm stains are a huge improvement over the marker style lip stains they had that came with a separate lip balm, those are by far the most annoying lip product I've ever used. They dried out my lips, the marker felt tip never evenly distributed the stain and the lip balm wasn't emollient enough to keep them hydrated. The stain also lasted very weak, about an hour or 2 tops.

So lets talk about the balmstain. It comes in a cute pencil style twist up packaging. A convenient 2 in 1 product that gives a nice color payoff while hydrating the lips and it has a light minty scent. The mint scent doesn't give the lips a tingly feeling as one would think, it wears off after a few minutes when appliedWhen I first used Honey the color didn't show up at all on my lips! It just looked like a thin lip balm since my lips are pigmented so i thought this wouldn't work at all. Luckily after about 20-30 minutes the color turned into a medium rosy pink that stains the lips for hours. I've read reviews about the color changing into a brown but that wasn't the case for me. The pink tint is very wearable and after about 5 hours the stain still stays on the lips, this includes after eating and drinking. The balm feels really nice on the lips, its not too hydrating and it lasts about an hour or 2. The color disappears completely after about 7 hours.

I'm totally impressed with the lip stain. The pink tint looks appealing even for day wear so I highly recommen
d checking these out!
