[REVIEW] Artdeco Skin Perfecting BB Cream

I love how the BB cream craze is still going strong. I would pick a BB cream over foundation for daily wear any time! Its quick and easy to wear with such a natural finish. With so many brands coming up with different variations, ArtDeco has come out with a Skin Perfecting BB cream. Lets see how this one worked out for me.

The Skin Perfecting BB Cream SPF 15 combines 8 characteristics in only one product. It provides moisture, sun protection and color, in particular Hyaluronic acid, squalene and brown algae provide the skin with an explosion of freshness. Thanks to the very light, creamy, water-based texture that makes it easy to blend effortlessly into the skin. 

The Skin Perfecting BB Cream SPF 15 contains minerals such as smithsonite and zinc which nourishe the skin. Vitamin A and vitamin E protect the skin from free radicals. Free of fragrances, parabens and talc. Suitable for all skin types, even sensitive. Skin tolerance dermatologically confirmed.

Let's Talk About it:
The BB cream comes in a squeeze tube bottle which is ideal for such a liquidy consistency it has, you can dispense the right amount of product without any waste. The shade that matched me is 03 Sand. Shade 06 Pale Peach is ideal for Tan complexions with a peach tone. 

The texture feels very creamy on the skin and applies easily without the need of blending it too much, the claim of it being water base prevents any dryness from occuring. On application, I dotted various parts of my face that needed coverage and blended it out with a flat top foundation brush. On some areas I did feel the need to go over it with another layer. It has a sheer coverage and isn't buildable even with 3 layers, imperfections do show through so a concealer is a must if you have any dark spots or scars on your face. I don't mind the sheer coverage since its ideal for daily use, the finish gives a very natural glow to the skin while slightly blurring any imperfections. 

I wore this during the winter season since BB creams generally have a very hydrating texture. Since my skin was extremely dry around my cheeks and mouth area, it hydrated the dry patches enough without giving a tacky/sticky feeling. I've been wearing this on its own and a bit of concealer on my dark circles and it wears nicely throughout the drier months. With the summer season, I'm not sure how well this will hold up on my oil prone skin. My nose does get shiny mid day so a pressed powder was a must with this. 

The downside to this BB cream is the high price for a small bottle. I know I'll finish this bottle within a few months with daily use since I do feel the need to apply a few layers.
