Aphrodisiac- A dark blue tone purple. I was so disappointed when I swatched this polish, the sparkles don't show up.

Metallic Muse- A subtle yellow gold metallic finish shade. I  love this polish! Its super pretty and feminine!

[REVIEW] Motives® by Loren Ridinger Shape & Sculpt Duo

Loren Ridinger the Creator of Motives® by Loren Ridinger  is one of the many brands of Market America. The company is an inspiration to every woman who is on a budget looking for high quality products. The cosmetic products are formulated with the most natural ingredients for healthier looking skin. The antioxidants and vitamins infused powder and cream products don't crease on your skin like others have the tendency to do so. The Shape & Sculpt Duo promises to provide a 2-in-1 product for contouring and highlighting. Designed to be suited for every skin type, the product is made with oil-free and fragrance free ingredients to give you a flawless finish.

    Motives® Shape & Sculpt Duo

Primary Benefits of Motives® Shape & Sculpt Duo:
    • Two-in-one highlighter and matte contour powder
    • Luxurious formula that glides on smoothly to highlight and sculpt
    • Designed for all skin types
    • Non-irritant formula
    • Paraben, oil and fragrance free
The Shape & Sculpt Duo is a 2 in one product to contour and highlight areas of your face. The light vanilla shade can be used on your cheekbones, cupids bow, the center of your nose as well as your forehead. The matte medium tone brown can be used for creating shadows on your chin, sides of your nose as well as the hallows of your cheeks for a slimmer face.
What Makes Motives® Shape & Sculpt Duo Unique?
Double-sided compact that contains everything you need to highlight and contour like a pro. The dark side creates depth in areas such as the hollows of your cheeks. Using the light side brings the eye forward, highlighting areas such as the bridge of the nose or chin. Contouring can help accentuate and hide imperfect face structures, making you look your best every day.
    Swatch:
The Shape & Sculpt Duo comes with a medium-tone matte brown for contouring and a light vanilla shade with the slightest shimmer as a highlight

    To Sum it up:
I've never really used a contour/highlight product mostly because I have always been afraid of over doing it. With the Shape & Sculpt it seems however there is no way one can over-do a contour or highlight, it blends into the natural color of your skin and doesn't give a powdery feel. The matte brown shade is perfect for slimming my nose as well as the hallows of my cheeks, those are the areas I focus more on for contouring especially for certain occasions. I do like blending the contour shade in with my blush for a slimmer face.
Both of the shades are very light, they are not super pigmented which is perfect for a beginner like me. The product can be built up to your preferred shade, its not chalky or powdery if you do choose to layer it.
One aspect about the product I like is that it does not have a fragrance, some products always have some scent to them whether its the ingredients or added fragrance.

    Likes:
    - Easily blends into the skin
    - Comes with a big mirror
    - Soft texture
    - Enough pigmentation for beginner's
    - Safe for people with sensitive skin
    - Fragrance-free

    Dislikes:
    - Not available in Pakistan
    - Packaging could be bulky for traveling

[REVIEW] Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

I've grown a fondness for Liz Earle's products, I've raved about their Cleanse & Polish as well as their Skin Boosting Tonic so I got to try out the Sheer Skin Tint, which is the first makeup product they have launched. It promises to enhance your skin making it dewy along with working alongside their skin care range.

    Sheer Skin Tint SPF15

    Liz Earle says:

The perfect way to enhance your skin. Our rich and creamy, yet lightweight formula leaves all skin types looking naturally dewy, even and radiant. With mineral UV SPF15, it’s enriched with our own blend of natural source vitamin E, borage and avocado, specially selected to work in harmony with our skincare range.
Apply a little Sheer Skin Tint onto forehead, nose, cheeks and chin, then blend with fingertips over your face.
    Suitable for all skin types

At first glance this looks like a tinted moisturizer, providing just a tiny bit of coverage with the added bonus of SPF 15. This can be called a light coverage foundation since the consistency and coverage is better than a tinted moisturizer. I usually add a tiny amount of foundation in my moisturizer if a light coverage so this saves that step!
The sheer skin tint is a creamy formula just like a regular foundation and blends very easily into the skin without adding too much color. Do not expect full coverage with this product since it’s purpose is to give a light coverage. I would say that the coverage isn't very sheer, the coverage is noticeable but very natural. It doesn't cover up imperfections such as acne marks or dark spots. This product is ideal for daytime use since the product just blends in with your natural skin tone.
This does apply very easily so you can use it without a brush if you are in a hurry. After initially applying it, it feels like a light foundation but after about 20 mins or so it does absorb into the skin but you can still feel the product. It does feel slick on the skin initially which is why I use a powder on top. After a few hours of use you can feel it on your skin but the coverage doesn't show.

I really love how the Liz Earle skin care range has clean and floraly scents so of course I was expecting this product to have the same sort of scent but it doesn't have any which is probably due it being in their makeup range.
I was unsure about which shade would suit me between Bare 01 and Beige 02 since there are times my skin becomes extremely tanned because of the weather but Beige looks really natural on my skin. My skin does get a bit oily through the day so I do need to use a mattifying powder which combined with this sheer skin tint just gives the perfect amount of coverage for daytime. I don't think this would be ideal for someone with really oily skin, but a powder might be necessary.
Sheer Skin Tint in Beige 02

The Sheer Skin Tint comes in 3 shades.
Bare 01- The palest shade, this suits fair, alabaster complexions.
Beige 02- The medium shade, this suits the majority of Caucasian skins.
Beach 03- The darkest shade, this works well for suntanned, olive-toned and most Asian skin tones.

The Skin Tint does contain mineral UV protection SPF15. The ingredients contain botanicalsavocado, borage as well as vitamin E which would work in correlation with their skin care products.
I really like the packaging, it's a very sleek black tube and easy to control how much product you need.

    To Sum it up:
This product is great for someone who is in a hurry in the morning. I didn't feel the need to apply a moisturizer with this since I feel it hydrates my skin. A powder was necessary for me since it gives a very dewy finish, I wouldn't say it made my skin oily but my t-zone has a tendency to become oily throughout the day. Coverage wise I think its perfect for daytime use and even if you need a light coverage for the evening.

[REVIEW] ELF Studio Blush in Peachy Keen

I'm not a huge blush fan, to be honest I only reach for 2 blushes that I love wearing. When I got to try out some products from ELF, which I posted a Shop and Tell about here, I had to try a peach color blush. ELF has 2 Peach shade blush's in their Studio range, Candid Coral and Peachy Keen. I decided to go for Peachy Keen because of the subtle shade since Candid Coral is a bit more deeper.

    E.L.F Says:

Studio Blush- The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow! The Studio Blush line has 11 shades.

The Studio Blush comes in a 4.75g Weight. The packaging doesn't seem cheap at all, it comes with a tiny mirror and its made from really thick plastic which is great for traveling.
Peachy Keen is a Nude shade blush with gold shimmer. Its a sheer product so it won't add color if you have medium to dark skin tone but the shimmer will be noticeable. When blushes are super pigmented it can be a bit difficult controlling how much product you need, since Peachy Keen isn't as pigmented it can be layered as a highlight or paired with another blush. It is super shimmery so I don't think one should layer this blush too much, it's a very subtle blush and will suit more pale skintones.
    Swatch:
Compared to Avon's Golden Glow (my all time fav peach blush) its more chalky/powdery. You can see the fallout in the swatch It looks pretty swatched on my wrist, but my face is about 2 shades darker so it doesn't show up as well. It add a nice highlight if I use it with Golden Glow. Golden Glow applies is much more smoother and shows up well on my cheeks. I wanted to compare the blush's to show you which works for my skin-tone as well as the finish of both the blushes.
It is barely noticeable when photographed. I applied 3 layers of the product. The other blush I've tried from ELF is the Studio Blush/Bronzer Duo which I love. Its not as chalky and you can easily control how much product you need.

[REVIEW] Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic + Skin Repair Moisturizer

Cleansing your skin should be Step 1 of your skin routine, after that a toner and a moisturizer should be used to get the best results. If you haven't read my previous post on the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish have a looky here. For today I have a review of 2 products from their skincare range, the  Instant Boost Skin Tonic + Skin Repair Moisturizer. I had a great experience with the Cleanse & Polish which gave me high expectations for the following products. One component in skin care that I feel is critical is how the product makes you feel after an hour or so after using them. I really admire how all the product's I have tried from Liz Earle so far have a refreshing scent, made from natural ingredients you can really smell that no extra ingredients were added just for the scent.
