Blush,
Let's Talk About it:
Packaged in a very sleek palette, the first thing I noticed about this palette is how portable it is. You get a pretty good variety of shadows and blushes to create any sort of look you want. With a lightweight cardboard packaging and a magnetic closure, its not at all bulky or heavy. The mirror however is a bit off, it has a wider reflection when used horizontally or vertically. It has strained my eyes so I prefer to not use it at all.
Getting to the eyeshadows- with 48 matte and shimmery shades about 5-6 matte shadows I couldn't get any pigmentation off of. They weren't showing up at all on my brush or finger to swatch. With that said, I have to say there are a few stellar shades that I am in love with- one being a matte cobalt blue from the last row. Its very smooth to apply and looks amazing on the lower lashline. The shimmery shades all have smooth textures, they are creamy to work with and apply easily on the lid. Beware of fallout from this palette, it can get messy with some shadows.
The same goes for the blushes and highlighters, not all of them are consistent in textures. Highlighter 01 is a very pretty bronze with shimmer, I like using this as a bronzer to warm up my complexion. It doesn't look overly shimmery on the cheeks but gives a warm glow, it applies smoothly and evenly. Highlight 02 and Blush 01 are both pinks with a golden sheen. They look very similar and don't show up very prominently on my cheeks. This might work for someone with pale or fair skintone. Blush 02 is a matte cool tone pink. This has a smooth texture and applies easily on the cheeks. Blush 03 is a bright orange with a slight pink tone. This one brightens up my complexion and applies evenly. The darkest color Blush 04 was the most disappointing. It has a very stiff and dry texture. While it does show up on my cheeks, its not the most flattering color since it has a very deep brown tone. Overall, the blushes that show up well lasts about 6-7 hours without any fading.
